The Vincentian Provincial Assembly proposed the construction of a parish church in 2000 under the order’s Millennium Project.
Construction began in 2003.
The new church was completed in 2012 and was declared a new shrine of the Archdiocese of Novaliches. This event also coincided with the 150th anniversary of the arrival of the Congregation of the Mission and Daughters of Charity in the Philippines.
