The Bustamante family's devotion to Tibungco led to a chapel dedicated to St. Francis Xavier in 1929. Despite WWII challenges, the image of St. Francis Xavier was preserved.
The chapel became a parish in 1965 under Fr. Henry Babin, who overcame obstacles to build the church.
The parish celebrated its fiesta on December 3, 1965. PME priests, including Msgr. Charles Van Den Ouwelant, played a crucial role.Notable
