San Sebastian Cathedral
- In the 1700s, the Malayan village of Magsungay was named San Sebastian de Magsungay under the protection of St. Sebastian.
- Due to pirate attacks, residents moved to the hilly terrain, precursor to Bacolod.
- Fr. Leon Pedro, appointed in 1806, became the first parish priest, and later, Fr. Gonzaga envisioned building the San Sebastian Church.
